These awards are given in 23 categories, each in three divisions. Divisions are defined as follows:

  • Division 1: Four-year college; daily newspaper
  • Division 2: Four-year college; weekly, bi-weekly or monthly newspaper
  • Division 3: Two-year college; weekly, bi-weekly or monthly newspaper
In the winner list that follows, "HM" stands for "Honorable Mention".
In each category and division, "1st" is a link to an image of the first-prize entry.
