WHITE SALMON — New to the Gorge is The Healing Current, though Denison Wiedman has been offering restoring massages in the community for some time. After moving to the area four years ago to pursue massage therapy and whitewater, Wiedman has opened a location in White Salmon for his practices.

GOLDENDALE — The Klickitat County Childcare Committee (KCCC) is back in action after receiving $95,000 in grants, allowing it to expand county-wide while maintaining Goldendale efforts. The grants are from the Washington Department of Commerce and Southwest Accountable Community of Health (SWACH).

THE DALLES — Northern Wasco County PUD is offering a new scholarship program that will award three $10,000 scholarships this year. The awards will be paid directly to the educational institution in two annual $5,000 payments, upon confirmation of registration.
