HOW IT WORKS

When you place an online ad through ONAC Online ...
We store the ad image on our web server and create two accounts: one to record each "hit" or view (when a web surfer views a web page containing your ad), and one to record each "click-through" (when an interested user clicks on your ad). The names of the two accounts for your ad are given to you (the advertiser) and to the appropriate webmasters (those who place the ad image on their web pages). Each webmaster comes to our web site, enters the account name, and receives a line of HTML code which they insert into the web page where your ad is to appear.

When a web surfer encounters your ad ...
Each time someone views a web page containing your ad, the "hits" account for that ad is incremented. Each time someone clicks on your ad, the "click-throughs" account for that ad is incremented. And whenever either account is incremented, the web address of the page where the "hit" or "click-through" originated is recorded.

To monitor your ad's performance ...
Beginning from the time the ad is placed, you can visit our web site at any time, day or night, and view up-to-the-minute statistics for "hits" and "click-throughs" on your ad. You will know not only how many web surfers have seen your ad, but also which web sites they were on when they saw it. The statistical displays include information in two categories: by web site and overall. Totals for the past 24 hours and the past 90 days are also displayed for each hour of the day, and (as totals only) by month since the ad was placed.
