Circulation director

The Student Media department of the Memorial Union, at Oregon State University-Corvallis, is currently recruiting a full time (1.0 FTE), twelve-month, fixed term, Director position. The director will be a collaborative leader, leading diverse groups of stakeholders to articulate a vision of a dynamic and flexible platform for student media programs. The implementation of those programs will position student media staff as a major force in informing and connecting all sectors of the OSU community while collaborating with academic media programs to prepare students for careers. Under the leadership of the director, the department provides outreach to organizations, schools and businesses in order to create and maintain relationships that foster educational and employment opportunities for OSU students and supports the recruitment of students likely to succeed at OSU. Requires a Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, new media, broadcast communications, college student services, or related field AND successful and progressively responsible experience in publishing and/or broadcast journalism and/or digital media at a supervisory or instructional level; demonstrated commitment to promote and enhance diversity; demonstrated knowledge and experience in digital media.
